Mathieu Desjardins soars to Autodrome Drummond win
Mathieu Desjardins won the 50 lap Opening Night at the Autodrome Drummond on Saturday. This was Mathieu's second win of the season, first at Autodrome Drummond this year, and second Weekly win of the season. For Desjardins it was their third win putting him eighth on the Autodrome Drummond win list since 2008. Finishing 0.822 seconds behind in second was David Hebert. This was David's third Top 5 of the season, first at Autodrome Drummond this year, and third Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Steve Bernard, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Sbastien Gougeon, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Gino Clair, their first top 5 of the year. Claude Brouillard, Michael Parent, Dany Bilodeau, Mario Clair, and Alan Therrien rounded out the top 10.
