Matt Sheppard brings home win at Utica Rome Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Regular Event at the Utica Rome Speedway on Sunday. This was Matt's twenty-sixth win of the season, sixth at Utica Rome Speedway this year, and Twentieth Weekly win of the season. For the 35 year old Sheppard it was their thirty-fifth win putting him second on the Utica Rome Speedway win list since 2008.
Finishing 0.162 seconds behind in second was Marc Johnson. This was Marc's twelfth Top 5 of the season, fifth at Utica Rome Speedway this year, and tenth Weekly Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Bobby Varin, their twelfth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Pat Ward, their nineteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Tim Fuller, their twenty-eighth top 5 of the year.
Mike Maresca, Mike Mahaney, Claude Hutchings Jr, Alan Barker, and Brandon Walters rounded out the top 10.
