Stewart Friesen trimuphs on Short Track Super Series at Outlaw Speedway
Stewart Friesen won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Outlaw Showdown 50 at the Outlaw Speedway on Wednesday. This was Stewart's eighth win of the season, first at Outlaw Speedway this year, and second Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 34 year old Friesen it was their first win putting him fifteenth on the Outlaw Speedway win list since 2006. Finishing 2.3700 seconds behind in second was Alan Johnson. This was Alan's tenth Top 5 of the season, eighth at Outlaw Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Mat Williamson, their seventeenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Mike Mahaney, their fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Ryan Godown, their sixteenth top 5 of the year. Billy Decker, Duane Howard, Cory Costa, Mike Gular, and Kyle Coffey rounded out the top 10.
