Jimmy Phelps captures win on Super DIRTcar Series at RPM Speedway
Jimmy Phelps won the 100 lap Super DIRTcar Series Quebec 100 at the RPM Speedway on Friday. This was Jimmy's fifth win of the season, first at RPM Speedway this year, and second Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 43 year old Phelps it was their first win putting him thirteenth on the RPM Speedway win list since 2006. Finishing 1.0840 seconds behind in second was Danny Johnson. This was Danny's seventeenth Top 5 of the season, first at RPM Speedway this year, and eighth Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Matt Sheppard, their forty-eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Steve Bernard, their twenty-seventh top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was David Hebert, their eighteenth top 5 of the year. Peter Britten, Dominic Dufault, Erick Rudolph, Simon Perrault, and Brett Hearn rounded out the top 10.
