Jeff Strunk won the 40 lap Short Track Super Series South Jersey Shootout at the Bridgeport Speedway (3/8 mile) on Sunday. This was Jeff's second win of the season, second at Bridgeport Speedway (3/8 mile) this year, and first Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 49 year old Strunk it was their second win putting him first on the Bridgeport Speedway (3/8 mile) win list since 2006. Finishing 1.4060 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's sixth Top 5 of the season, first at Bridgeport Speedway (3/8 mile) this year, and second Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Stewart Friesen, their ninth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Andy Bachetti, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Anthony Perrego, their sixth top 5 of the year. Ryan Godown, Rick Laubach, Duane Howard, Billy Pauch Jr., and David VanHorn Jr. rounded out the top 10.
