With only 13 points separating the top three going into the May 22 event, Doug Hoffman’s win Saturday night made the points chase even tighter. The trophy could have gone to any of the top five in Saturday Night’s main Sportsman event, with Steve Loroza and Tom Miller vying for first right off the start. The competition heated up even more as Bill Klingmeyer joined the party at the mid way point. Fans enjoyed a three car battle for the top spot during lap 14, making the feature possibly the best race of the season. Miller and Klingmeyer were neck and neck as the 18th lap was recorded.
