Bradford VT June 28th, 2003. Loyal fans awarded Spectacular Fireworks both on the track and in the air as H. O. Taylor presented a full card of racing.

In the Journal Opinion Fast Fours Kelly Miller and David Scott Stearns led the way to the green for their 20 lap main event. Dean Switser Jr. and last weeks feature winner Lenny Garduno weren’t about to let them stay there though as they continue to show the fans that these two veterans know how to make it around the ridge the fastest. With some of the best racing afforded the fans for the evening in this division it would be Switser for the win followed by Garduno, McKinstry.

Troy Gray in the Mekkelsen RV 358 Modifieds finally shook the monkey off his back, as he was able to win his heat race, start on the pole in the feature, and stay there for the win. But don’t think it was an easy feat as Jim Ryan worked him hard though out the race, letting him know that no win comes easy at the Ridge. At the end you could have thrown a blanket over the top four as they crossed the finish line, as Carl Murray and Chris Donnelly, had made their way to the front and tried to lay claim to the coveted first place spot. When all was said and done it would be Gray followed by Ryan, Murray, and Donnelly.

Heat winners: Vince Quinneville and Troy Gray

Feature Finish: Troy Gray, Jim Ryan, Carl Murray, Chris Donnelly, Dickie Moses, John Landry, Mike Tinker, Vince Quinneville, Brad Phelps, Jack Cook, Brian Whittemore, Danny Douville, Gene Pierson.

The Gilmour Ford Sportsman Coupes saw yet another new winner as Steve Ellsworth working from deep in the pack made his way to the front for the win. The good luck gods were shining on Rookie contender Paul Towle this weekend as he was able to make it two for two in victory lane as he came home a strong 2nd following his third place win from the the night before at sister track Canaan Fair Speedway, making Ellsworth work for the first place trophy. Completing the top five were Tyler Rich Doug Titus and Louis Cadwell.

Heat winners: Louis Cadwell and Tyler Rich.

Feature Finish: Steve Ellsworth, Paul Towle, Tyler Rich, Doug Titus, Louis Cadwell, Adam Pierson, Josh Harrington, Bob Shepard, Kevin Menard, Dean Stockwell, Kevin Chaffee, Ryan Dutton, , Peter Greaves.
