Beau Wilkins 9 was involved in a incident during the second heat hitting the back wall, breaking the front axle and rear axle plus a lot of other complications. During the feature, Wilkins had to start last, and was involved as victim when a chain reaction for cars checking up further in the field. The car was heavy damaged and appeared to be totally a hand full to handle. Somehow Wilkins works that car to get up through the field to get a tenth place finish. The car looked so hard to handle, the driver had to really be on his toes to maintain and gain that many positions. Great job!
Norman Short 8M had the oil pump belt break during the heat and was not able to start for the second week in a row.
Lap 14 H. J. Bunting III 1W had a flat tire, but returned to the track to finish 9th place.
Ricky Johnson 69 had ignition trouble during hot laps and used his back up car tonight.
Lap 14 single file restart had Deron Rust 396 slowing while in 2nd position and feeling a vibration and discovering no brakes, the right front brake caliber broke.
