No times for heats were available.

Deron Rust had the fastest lap in the heats and appeared to be the car to beat in the feature. A yellow flew at the start when quite a few cars were in an altercation involving 555, 39, 69, 15, 28J. The bumper to Walker apparently fell in turn 3, and the yellow was again just as Rust came into turn 3 and hit the bumper hard driving it up under the car. Rust was out for the night with damage.

First time Bunting back in Victory Lane since 5/25/04, and he is the current points leader. The points chase is really heating up in the top 6 drivers.

Rick Bishop went in the infield around lap 10-11 with mechanical problems. Bishop had problems during the heats also. Norman Short was plague with more troubles this week with power steering.
