DALE PLANCK, JOEY LADOUCEUR, BRUNO RICHARD, BILLY WOODWARD, JR. AND GARRETT WHITE TAKE TOP HONORS AT FROGTOWN

Hogansburg, NY ... Dale Planck of Homer, New York bested a fine field of twenty-seven 358 DIRT Modifieds and took home his first win ever at Frogtown International Speedway by winning the 17th running of the Firecracker 25 lap main event sponsored by JR Fuels and The Bears Den.

Patrick Dupree and Tom Gonyo started on the front row of the event with Dupree grabbing the early lead, but by the time they came around to complete lap #1, Kevin Fetterly had grabbed the lead followed by Dupree, John Lazore, Dale Planck and Chris Jones. Fetterly who had been running strong all night held the lead until lap #4 when Fetterly relinquished the lead to a very fast John Lazore. Lazore managed to hold the lead for just a while as Planck got by to take the lead on lap #6. Back in the pack both Brian McDonald and Dave Heaslip started to make their trek to the front and finally cracked the top five on lap #13 and looked to have plenty of gas in the tank for Planck, Lazore and Fetterly.

But as the race progressed further along, Planck seemed to be pulling away followed still by teammate John Lazore, Kevin Fetterly, Dave Heaslip and Brian McDonald. This definitely was Dale Planck's race to win or loose as he continued to lengthen his lead and negotiate the traffic. When the checkered flag fell, it was Planck who took home the checkered flag and the win. Hometown favorite John Lazore picked up second much to the delight of the Quality Concrete racing team. Kevin Fetterly was very excited and pleased to say the least after taking third place making this his best finish in quite sometime. Dave Heaslip had yet another tremendous run to finish fourth with Brian McDonald returning to Frogtown and showing everyone he hasn't missed a beat by finishing fifth.

In the 35 lap DIRT Pro Stock Mr. Radiator Series race, a top notch field comprised of the best of the best from Frogtown International Speedway, Edelweiss Speedway and Cornwall Motor Speedway put on a great show for the Frogtown faithful.

Mitchell Jock and Casey Swamp started on the front row of this important series event with Mitchell Jock grabbing the early lead must to the delight of the night's sponsors JR Fuels and The Bears Den. Mitchell held the lead until lap #5 when Louie Jackson got by to take over the lead followed closely by Mitchell Jock, Joey Ladouceur Stephane LeBrun and William Adams. Jackson had his hand s full for several laps with both Ladouceur and LeBrun right on his back bumper. Todd Raabe was also on the move as well and scrambled his way up through to grab the fourth spot. On lap #31, Ladouceur grabbed the lead but the next task was to hold it and Stephane LeBrun, Mitchell Jock and Todd Raabe were not going to make it an easy task.

At the finish, the group of four came across the line together with Ladouceur coming home with the win just barely in front of LeBrun. Mitchell Jock, Todd Raabe and Jody Swamp rounded out the top five.

In the always exciting Semi Pro Division, Bruno Richard picked up his first ever Semi Pro victory at Frogtown but not after having to fight off a very determined Teio Seymour for the win. Carey Terrance picked up a ride in Corey Jalbert's #90 car to finish third with Steven Brand and Dion Oakes rounding out the top five.

In the Bandit division, Billy "Woo Woo" Woodward, Jr. continued his winning ways with a great run and managed to hold off repeated challenges from Nico LeBlanc and Kurtis McPhee who finished second and third respectfully. Points lead Trevor White finished fourth with Stuart Mossow rounding out the top five.

In the Enduro class, Garrett White made it two in a row after building up a big lead early and managing to avoid a late race mishap with only four laps to go.

Next week it will be the Midsummer Championships in all classes. Also on the card will be a Pro Stock autograph session at the intermission. The card will also feature the second leg of the Coors Light Pro Stock Series for the mighty DIRT Pro Stock division.
