JIM RYAN, JOEY LADOUCEUR, CHRIS TREMBLAY, DUANE BRAINARD AND TIM HERNE TAKE FROGTOWN TOP HONORS

Hogansburg, NY - Jim Ryan of Shoreham, Vermont finally got things to go his way and brought home the gold in the Oionkwaonwe Enterprises 1st Time Winners Classic feature go for the 358 Modifieds.

Twenty-four Modifieds who have not won a feature this season took to the track in hopes that they may be the one to finally get a feature win at the track. Delbert LeGrow and Brian McDonald started on the front row of the special event with McDonald grabing the early lead only to lose it to LeGrow again on lap #4 after going wide in turn two.

LeGrow held on to the lead until lap nine when Wind Gap, Pennsylvania's Frank Cozze took the lead with Jim Ryan close behind. Ryan waited patiently throughout the race and finally got the opening he had been waiting for on lap 19 of the 20 lap special event when Cozze had to slow for the #22 of Matt Gonyo. Ryan moved around the outside of Cozze and hung on to take home the win. Delbert LeGrow drove a faboulous race to finish third as Leon Gonyo and Brian McDonald rounded out the top 5.

In the DIRT Pro Stock feature, Joey Ladouceur of Alexandria, Ontario took the lead on lap #4 from Joel Herne and fought off challenges from Mark Therrien to win his first of the season at Frogtown. Mike Allen, Steve Francis and Mitchell Jock rounded out the top five.

In the Semi-Pro division, Duane Brainard continued his winning ways at the speedway. Andy Heywood looked like he would be a sure winner until Brainard slipped by on lap #11 of the fifteen lap event. Heywood finished second with Jamie Martin, Pete Backus and Dick Planty rounding out the top five.

In the Bandit class, Chris Tremblay of Cornwall, Ontario took the lead on lap #4 from team mate Curtis McPhee who fell off the pace and went on to the win. Rosco Garreau, Treavor McPhee, Rene Poirier and Peter Cenname rounded out the top five.

In the Enduro Class, Tim Herne out distanced Stacy Boots to bring home the win.
