40TH CAREER WIN FOR EURICH

Middletown, NY: Rich Eurich of Warwick, NY returned after losing his motor in warmups last week to post his 40th career win at the Orange County Fair Speedway Saturday night. Starting on the pole for the Cedar Ridge Trailer Sales 30 lap event, the former three time champion here out paced the field to claim his 40th career win.

Finishing second was the 8th starting Jeff Heotzler while defending champion Chuck McKee came from 16th to take 3rd over Frank Jashembowski. Rich Laubach, invading because Bridgeport rained out, was 5th.

Tom Hindley of Fair Oaks, NY claimed the LA West Luxury Vehicles 25 lap 358 modified feature as he held off rookie David Van Horn to record his 4th career win. Hindley was able to maintain the lead in lapped traffic as Van Horn had to settle for second. Tommy Meier, Jerry Higbie and Heotzler completed the top five.

Defending champion Stan Jablonka of Poughquag, NY raced home first in the 20 lap DIRT Sportsman feature. He took the lead on lap 15 and won over last week's winner Rick Mill. Kevin Paffenroth, Joe Dunay and jamie Yannone filled the balance of the top five spots.

John Bryson from Croton Falls, NY put his new Expert Pro Stock car in victory lane in their 20 lap feature. It was his 13th career win. The Rookie main of 18 laps went to opening night winner Pat O'Mara of Mahopac, NY.

Winning his first ever 12 lap Pure Stock feature was Bob Swanson of Newburgh, NY.

The first event in the 3rd annual Chet's Garage Demo Derby series takes place this Saturday night. A full card of Modifieds, DIRT Sportsman, Pro Stocks and Pure Stocks will take place before the demo derby with racing beginning at 6:30 pm.
