Brian Weaver made it three in a row and for for the year as he passed Mark Terry with five to go win last Saturday night's Modified feature at the "fast track" Thunder Mountain Speedway. Jerry Northrup moved to the high side on the white flag to grab off second while Terry held on for third. Randy Decker and George Hoffmier Jr. completed the top five. Ron Flannery made it win number five in the Street Stocks, with no protests thank you. He was followed by P. J. Goodwin and last week's winner Scott Conover. Buck Mills got his career first in the fifteen lap Pure Stock event. He was chased by last week's winner Tim Davey and Craig Krantz. Harold Humphrey won his second in the Four Cylinder Stock event over Brian Payne and Jeff WilcoxSteve Hill stopped Ken Taylor's string in the 4 Cylinder Mods. Taylor came home second while ageless veteran Chet Carr took a strong third. It was Frankie Doll Jr. again in the Dwarf cars over Cliff Pierce and Kevin Doll. Dave Peworchik led only the final few yards to grab off win number four in the Mini-Sprints over Dave Disimone and Dale Pitcher and Wayne Walker claimed the Amatuer event.

Next Saturday will feature a regular show of Mods, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Four Cylinder Stocks, Four Cylinder Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Amatuers and Mini-Sprints. Gates open at 3:00 p.m. with racing scheduled at 6:00.
