Feature Event (Pepsi-Cola of Elmira Special 25 Lap feature): BUTCH HARRIS, Walt Mitchell, Billy VanPelt, Steve Coots, Tim Thomton, Buddy Morseman, Stacy Jackson, Te Hought, Lyle Sherwood, Ron ite (1 st ever appearance at Woodhull).

Notes: 3 quick cautions slowed the race, 22 cars finished on the lead lap. Several years since Butch has won at Woodhull - Walt Mitchell had a good weekend, backing up his win at Black Rock on Friday with a runner-up finish in the Boonies. 33 Modifieds on hand.

Street Stocks: Mike Hilfiger, Ken Peoples, and Bret Flint.

Consolation: Larry Robbins

Feature Event: MIKE HILFIGER, Kevin Chilson, Larry owles, Bill Brewer, Scott Brown, Dan Gardner, Bill Smith, Rich Karlnoski, Brett Flint, Scott Drake.

Notes: 30 Street Stocks on hand, Ken Peoples failed tech inspection, losing a great 5th place run.

Amateur Heats: Dave Dubois, Ted Morseman, Les Smith, Stan Hoffman, Jr.

Consolation: Joe Orchowski

Feature Event: LES SMITH, Rich Marlatt, Stan Hoffman, Lyle Smith, Pete Fitzsimmons, Joe Orchowski, Clayton McClain, P. J. Devinney, Carl Dubois, and Bob Clark. Notes: Joe Orchowski, last week's feature winner, came out of the consolation and justmissed a top five finish. 32 ateur division cars on hand. 4-Cylinder Stock Heats: Bob Lubberts and Te Fredericks.

Feature (15 laps): Tom Stewart, Ed Mills, Todd Stone, Bob Lubberts, Te Fredericks, Chris Button, B an Austin, Kevin Young, Gary Lampman, Don Potter.

Notes: 20 4-cylinders on hand tonight - the fields continue to grow. Goodier failed post race inspection, taking him out of a competitive top five finish.

128 racecars on hand on a chilly night. The mechanic's races were featured, and there is much work for the one-night wonders to repair, as some of them found out how tough it is to get around Woodhull. Winners: John Smith in Butch Harris'Modified, Matt Nowicki in Ward idon's Street Stock, Te VanDelinder in P.J. Devinney's Amateur, and Mike Horton in Laurie Morseman's Four Cylinder.

Next week, the founder of Woodhull Raceway, George Williams, will be remembered with a 50 Lap feature event for the Modifieds. The $2,000 to win event should draw even more Modifieds for the big purse. The Street Stocks, ateur Division, and 4-Cylinder Stocks will also be on hand for a full program.
