Luke Whitteker from start to finish!

It was a special evening for the Modified class teams as the team members were going to be involved by participating in the second edition of the Pit Stop Competition. Luke Whitteker benefited from the ONE team's speed in the contest but he did all the work in the 40-lap final to secure the victory.

The first 3 cars of the 3 qualifiers for the Modifieds had the honor of participating in the pitstop competition which, for a second edition, took up the formula with a passage on the circuit and a chicane in the pit line. At the end of the 9 cars, the ONE team placed the 3 cars it was responsible for stopping in the first 3 positions.

In the final, we attended the Luke Whitteker show. The Ontario pilot hired by Pierre Dagenais was literally untouchable. He led this final from start to finish, which happened without any neutralization. Even the traffic did not allow David Hébert to get closer. Yan Bussière took 3rd place while Steve Bernard and François Bernier completed the top 5. The fight for positions 4 and 5 gave rise to intense and spectacular battles between Bernard, Mario Clair and François Bernier.

The Sportsman were featured in a 32-round final. Martin Lessard, with a 5th place in the previous race, remains in the first 3 positions before overtaking Karl Letendre and Yannick Ledoux to take the lead at the halfway point. William Racine then comes to do the same before Letendre sees his podium hopes soar following a contact. Lessard manages to stay ahead of Racine and wins. Ledoux finished 3rd while Félix Murray made a good comeback to finish 4th in front of Alexandre Salvas. The best recruit was Jérémy St-Louis who finished 13th.

The Pro-Stocks also had a 30-lap final on the schedule and we had some fierce battles. Bruno Richard and Jeffrey Lapalme did not leave each other an inch and on several occasions exchanged paint. It was also during a contact between the 2 leaders that Alain Brochu was able to settle in 2nd place before taking the measure of Lapalme during a late recovery to go for victory. Jonathan Lévesque, in car 32, had quite a race and he put the exclamation point on the last restart, taking 2nd place from Lapalme who finished 3rd. 2020 Rookie of the Year Jonathan Lemay finished 4th ahead of Bruno Richard.

The Sport Compacts were once again very spectacular in their 20-lap final, while for the third time this season, Danick Sylvestre came to win the race. He had to fight with Alexis Charbonneau to get the victory while Dominik Blais finished in 3rd place. Jérémie Goyette, author of 2 wins, finished 4th. Kevin Morin, who was returning to competition after a serious accident, finished 5th.
