Mother Nature put a scare into the Racing Program around 5:30 with a 15 minute sprinkle. Track Maintenance guys watched the radar close not to put to much water down late in the track prep procedure. The track performed well all night.
First up the Pro Stocks. The 47 of Cam Kraisinger started in P1 with the 4 of Brett Hutira to his outside. The 4 of Brett Hutira gets another win this season. The 08 of Jeff Broniszewski gets second from his 6th starting position.

In the second spot. Pure Stocks.
The classic Fastback Ford Mustang 32 of Ron Ramsey started in P1 with the 100 of Anthony Monteparte to his outside. As in many races this season the 100 of Monteparte gets out front very early and does not look back. The 32 of Ramsey and the 969 of Hazlett gave chase but came up a little short at the checkers.

In the Prime 3rd starting spot. The Earth Pounding Big Block Modified.
Starting in P1 the 32R of Chris Rudolph on his outside the 61 of Dave Murdick. Off to a quick start the 61 of Murdick jumped out front quickly, the 61 was able to maintain the lead through a couple restarts with a commanding lead the 61 of Murdick sails to the checkers.

Starting in the 4th Spot. Latrobe’s own 4 Cyl. Starting in the P1 the 90 of Wyatt Piper to his outside the 210 of Michael Hebenthal (driving for Burkett). It did not take long for the 99P of Bob Pease to find the front of the pack. With Pease running out front the racing action was heating behind him for the next 4 spots.

In the 5th Spot. E-Mods. Starting in P1 the T2 of Greg Hauger to his Outside the 18d of Bruce Dreistadt. As the T2 brought the field of 4 cars down to Denny Carson’s green flag it was the T2 that lead gor a few short laps until the 18D of Dreistadt took over the lead and did not look back.

In the the 6th and final Spot the Crate Late Models. Starting in the P1 spot the 14G of Jake Gunn to his outside the 55 of Marino Angellichio. The 14G lead the entire race from his P1 starting position. But behind him was a crazy race in the making riddled with cautions. At one point the 17G of Zach Gunn was in second place giving chase to the 14G (his brother) until Zach got to close to the tires in the infield and took himself out of the chase. Through multiple cautions the 28H of Clate Copeman worked his way through the field from his P8 starting position to end in second place.

Fall Fest 2021 is just 2 weeks away. 12 Divisions of racing in 2 days. Each day will be complete shows, each day will see 5 new divisions. The 4 Cyl Division was our largest division all year so they are pulling double duty during Fall Fest 2021.
