Redline Raceway played host to another packed house Friday evening May 5th. The weather was a little warmer than the week before and the fans were again treated to very good racing action all through the evening.

The qualifying heats were run first as usual, and then a very short intermission followed.

The first feature event for the evening were the I.M.C.A. Modifieds.

Larry Robbins in his X factor modified walked away from the rest of the field, a late race caution allowed the field to restart on the rear bumper of the Robbins machine, but on the drop of the green flag Robbins simply drove away from the field never looking back and took the victory. Finishing second was Sean Lias from Westfield, Pa., in his number 37. Coming home in third was the 44 of "Dangerous" Don Cole, of Canton, Pa.

Eddie Sites in his 15 from Monroeton, Pa., out ran the 83 of Ed McKernan from Towanda, Pa., to take his second victory in a row in the Street Stock division. Elmira's Al Silvernail in his 5 machine took third.

Ray Hyer of Campbell, NY., took the Pure Stock victory in his number 80. Granville's Brad Butcher crossed the stripe second in nis number 01. Jeff Rider of Jim Thorpe, Pa., took third in the 1 machine.

The Mini Stock division saw the 72 of A.J. Potrzebowski from Elmira, NY., take the win over the 36 of Larry Colton from Columbia Cross Roads, Pa. Doug Colton from Col. Cross Rds. in his 36x finished third.

Last to compete for the evening were the Big Block Small Block Modifieds. The M16 of Mike Schane from Lake Ariel, Pa., topped the field and took his first victory of 2006. Finishing second was the 55s of Shawn Reimert, of Oley, Pa. Taking the third spot was the 119 of Brian Malcolm from Lake Ariel.
