with Strada, Gary Smith and Mark Schoonover all in tow. Jeremy Smith would
lead until lap three when Ed Strada was able to take over the top spot. His
lead would only last one lap as Smith would come right back to take the lead
on lap five.
Gary Smith was now in the hunt for the lead as he took the number one
position away on lap seven. Caution appeared for the first time as Mitch
Gibbs came to a stop in turn two. On the restart, Gary Smith kept the lead
with Jeremy Smith following in his tire tracks. On lap ten Jeremy Smith took
control one more time. This time he was able to open up a five-car advantage.

top five battling for the third and fourth position. Mark Schoonover was in
second and now feeling the pressure from both Green and Horton. Caution
appeared once again on lap twenty as John Sedlecky came to a stop on the
backstretch. On the restart, with Jeremy Smith in the lead, both Green and
Horton were able to get by Schoonover moving him back to third.

working on Schoonover for fourth. Up front, Smith now had Robbie Green to
contend with as Green who was the previous weeks winner started to show his
strength as he took the lead on lap twenty-three. Paul Jensen took the third
spot away and was now fending off the challenges of Kirk Horton. At the
midway point Green leads with Jeremy Smith second, Paul Jensen, Kirk Horton
and Mark Schoonover rounding out the top five.
With Robbie Green in front and starting to pull away, Kirk Horton took the
third spot from Smith and by lap thirty took the second position from Paul
Jensen. Robbie Green was on rails and pulling away more and more as the laps
ticked off. With Green no where in sight, Kirk Horton and Paul Jensen took
turns exchanging second and third positions. These two drivers put on the
best race of the night as they raced side by side for the second and third for
over twenty laps.
Green was out in front and on cruise control as he was now a full
straightaway ahead of Horton and Jensen by lap forty. With Horton and Jensen
battling for second and third, Jeremy Smith was in fourth and holding off the
challenges of Mark Schoonover. The final caution of the race came out on lap
forty-eight, as Jerry Northrup came to a stop in the fourth turn.

and leave no doubt on whom was the fastest on the night. At the checkers,
