Matt Sheppard soars to Outlaw Speedway win
Matt Sheppard won the 40 lap Outlaw Summer Nationals at the Outlaw Speedway on Saturday. This was Matt's twenty-fouth win of the season, eighth at Outlaw Speedway this year, and third Unsanctioned win of the season. For the 37 year old Sheppard it was their thirtieth win putting him second on the Outlaw Speedway win list since 2004. Finishing in second was Alan Johnson. This was Alan's fourteenth Top 5 of the season, eighth at Outlaw Speedway this year, and third Unsanctioned Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Kyle Coffey, their eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Justin Wright, their fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Derrick Podsiadlo, their first top 5 of the year. Steve Paine, Brady Fultz, Eldon Payne Jr., Cory Costa, and Jim LaRock rounded out the top 10.
