Matt Sheppard won the 100 lap Super DIRTcar Series Labor Day Double Play 100 at the Weedsport Speedway on Monday. This was Matt's thirty-fouth win of the season, third at Weedsport Speedway this year, and seventh Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 37 year old Sheppard it was their twenty-fifth win putting him first on the Weedsport Speedway win list since 2004. Finishing 2.8700 seconds behind in second was Danny Johnson. This was Danny's twelfth Top 5 of the season, first at Weedsport Speedway this year, and second Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Larry Wight, their thirty-first top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Billy Decker, their twenty-fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Mat Williamson, their forty-sixth top 5 of the year. Chris Hile, Demetrios Drellos, Tim Sears Jr., Max McLaughlin, and Erick Rudolph rounded out the top 10.
