Craig VonDohren heads to victory lane at Big Diamond Speedway
Craig VonDohren won the 72 lap Coalcracker 72 at the Big Diamond Speedway on Sunday. This was Craig's ninth win of the season, fifth at Big Diamond Speedway this year, and second Unsanctioned win of the season. For the 56 year old VonDohren it was their forty-eighth win putting him first on the Big Diamond Speedway win list since 2004. Finishing in second was Brett Kressley. This was Brett's twelfth Top 5 of the season, first at Big Diamond Speedway this year, and fifth Unsanctioned Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Duane Howard, their twenty-fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Mike Gular, their eighteenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Frank Cozze, their eighth top 5 of the year. Jeff Strunk, Ryan Godown, Richie Pratt Jr., Billy Pauch Jr., and Rick Laubach rounded out the top 10.
