Matt Sheppard takes Super DIRTcar Series checkers at Orange County Fair Speedway
Matt Sheppard won the 100 lap Super DIRTcar Series Battle on the Midway at the Orange County Fair Speedway on Thursday. This was Matt's thirtieth win of the season, second at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and sixth Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 37 year old Sheppard it was their second win putting him thirty-eighth on the Orange County Fair Speedway win list since 2004. Finishing in second was Ryan Godown. This was Ryan's sixteenth Top 5 of the season, second at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and first Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Erick Rudolph, their forty-fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Billy Decker, their Twentieth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Brett Hearn, their twenty-sixth top 5 of the year. Billy Pauch, Peter Britten, Danny Johnson, Mat Williamson, and Jimmy Phelps rounded out the top 10.
