Mat Williamson grabs Merrittville Speedway checkers
Mat Williamson won the 35 lap Civic Holiday Special at the Merrittville Speedway on Monday. This was Mat's eleventh win of the season, second at Merrittville Speedway this year, and third Non-series win of the season. For the 31 year old Williamson it was their forty-fifth win putting him second on the Merrittville Speedway win list since 2002. Finishing 2.1200 seconds behind in second was Tyler Willard. This was Tyler's first Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Gary Lindberg, their fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Tim Jones, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Chad Chevalier, their first top 5 of the year. Scott Wood, Pete Bicknell, Mike Bowman, Todd Gordon, and Dalton Slack rounded out the top 10.
