Ryan Godown outruns Short Track Super Series Elite field at Cherokee Speedway

Ryan Godown won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Elite Rebel 50 at the Cherokee Speedway on Saturday. This was Ryan's first win of the season. Ryan's last win came on Nov 11, 2021, two starts ago. For the 46 year old Godown it was their first win putting him first on the Cherokee Speedway win list since 2000.
Finishing 1.5830 seconds behind in second was Larry Wight. This was Larry's seventh Top 5 of the season, first at Cherokee Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Elite Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Billy Pauch Jr., their fouth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Jimmy Horton, their first top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Michael Maresca, their second top 5 of the year.
Max McLaughlin, Ronnie Johnson, Darren Smith, Billy VanInwegen, and Mat Williamson rounded out the top 10.
