Matt Sheppard trimuphs on Short Track Super Series Elite at Orange County Fair Speedway
Matt Sheppard won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Elite Hard Clay Open at the Orange County Fair Speedway on Saturday. This was Matt's second win of the season, first at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Elite win of the season. For the 39 year old Sheppard it was their fifteenth win putting him eleventh on the Orange County Fair Speedway win list since 2000. Finishing in second was Max McLaughlin. This was Max's fouth Top 5 of the season, first at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Elite Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Mat Williamson, their fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Danny Creeden, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Ryan Godown, their third top 5 of the year. Andy Bachetti, Anthony Perrego, Alan Johnson, Michael Maresca, and Mike Gular rounded out the top 10.
