Jimmy Phelps reaches Albany-Saratoga Speedway victory lane

Jimmy Phelps won the 40 lap Modified Special at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway on Friday. This was Jimmy's seventh win of the season, first at Albany-Saratoga Speedway this year, and second Non-series win of the season. For the 47 year old Phelps it was their second win putting him twenty-sixth on the Albany-Saratoga Speedway win list since 2000.
Finishing 1.5740 seconds behind in second was Stewart Friesen. This was Stewart's thirty-seventh Top 5 of the season, first at Albany-Saratoga Speedway this year, and third Non-series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Marc Johnson, their twenty-fouth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Adam Pierson, their ninth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Anthony Perrego, their twenty-ninth top 5 of the year.
Ronnie Johnson, Max McLaughlin, Demetrios Drellos, Brian Calabrese, and Mike Mahaney rounded out the top 10.
