Matt Sheppard scores Super DIRTcar Series win at Albany-Saratoga Speedway





Matt Sheppard won the 100 lap Super DIRTcar Series Massive Malta Weekend at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway on Saturday. This was Matt's thirty-fifth win of the season, first at Albany-Saratoga Speedway this year, and sixth Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 40 year old Sheppard it was their fouth win putting him fifteenth on the Albany-Saratoga Speedway win list since 2000.
Finishing 1.5110 seconds behind in second was Billy Decker. This was Billy's nineteenth Top 5 of the season, first at Albany-Saratoga Speedway this year, and third Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Anthony Perrego, their thirtieth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Marc Johnson, their twenty-fifth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Jeremy Pitts, their fouth top 5 of the year.
Peter Britten, Demetrios Drellos, Tim Sears Jr., Larry Wight, and Jimmy Phelps rounded out the top 10.
