Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Big Block Season Opener at the Orange County Fair Speedway on Saturday. This was Matt's sixth win of the season, second at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and third Weekly win of the season. For the 40 year old Sheppard it was their twenty-sixth win putting him eighth on the Orange County Fair Speedway win list since 1997. Finishing in second was Anthony Perrego. This was Anthony's second Top 5 of the season, first at Orange County Fair Speedway this year, and first Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Tanner VanDoren, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Steve Dodd, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Dillon Steuer, their third top 5 of the year. Brett Hearn, Tyler Dippel, Mike Gular, Jimmy Horton, and Billy VanInwegen rounded out the top 10.
