Jimmy Phelps posts Super DIRTcar Series victory at Thunder Mountain Speedway

Jimmy Phelps won the 77 lap Super DIRTcar Series The Natural 77 Honoring Dale Planck at the Thunder Mountain Speedway on Tuesday. This was Jimmy's fouth win of the season, first at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and first Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 49 year old Phelps it was their first win putting him sixty-third on the Thunder Mountain Speedway win list since 1996.
Finishing 0.4620 seconds behind in second was Mat Williamson. This was Mat's thirty-fouth Top 5 of the season, first at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and fifth Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Tim Sears Jr., their thirteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Matt Sheppard, their thirty-second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Jack Lehner, their fifteenth top 5 of the year.
Brandon Walters, Billy Decker, Anthony Perrego, Mike Mahaney, and Larry Wight rounded out the top 10.
