Stewart Friesen trimuphs on Super DIRTcar Series at Oswego Speedway
Stewart Friesen won the 200 lap Super DIRTcar Series Billy Whittaker Cars 200 at the Oswego Speedway on Saturday. This was Stewart's nineteenth win of the season, first at Oswego Speedway this year, and third Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 41 year old Friesen it was their third win putting him third on the Oswego Speedway win list since 1996. Finishing 0.5550 seconds behind in second was Jimmy Phelps. This was Jimmy's twenty-second Top 5 of the season, first at Oswego Speedway this year, and sixth Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Mat Williamson, their sixty-fouth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Max McLaughlin, their third top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Jack Lehner, their twenty-ninth top 5 of the year. Darren Smith, Alex Yankowski, Mike Mahaney, Matt Sheppard, and Erick Rudolph rounded out the top 10.
