Matt Sheppard captures win on DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park

Matt Sheppard won the 40 lap DIRTcar Nationals DIRTcar Nationals Night 3 at the Volusia Speedway Park on Friday. This was Matt's fifth win of the season, second at Volusia Speedway Park this year, and second DIRTcar Nationals win of the season. For the 41 year old Sheppard it was their tenth win putting him second on the Volusia Speedway Park win list since 1996.
Finishing 0.9700 seconds behind in second was Erick Rudolph. This was Erick's fifth Top 5 of the season, third at Volusia Speedway Park this year, and third DIRTcar Nationals Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Mat Williamson, their fouth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Alex Payne, their first top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Anthony Perrego, their third top 5 of the year.
Demetrios Drellos, Rick Laubach, Justin Stone, Marc Johnson, and Justin Haers rounded out the top 10.
