Rusty Smith bags win at Afton Fairgrounds Speedway

Rusty Smith won the 30 lap Regular Event at the Afton Fairgrounds Speedway on Friday. This was Rusty's second win of the season, second at Afton Fairgrounds Speedway this year, and second Weekly win of the season. For the 46 year old Smith it was their seventh win putting him seventeenth on the Afton Fairgrounds Speedway win list since 1996.
Finishing 1.9950 seconds behind in second was Dennis Clapperton. This was Dennis's third Top 5 of the season, second at Afton Fairgrounds Speedway this year, and third Weekly Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was J.R. Hurlburt, their second top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Nick Nye, their fouth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Charles Loiodice, their second top 5 of the year.
Corey Cormier, Justin Holland, Bailey Boyd, Ken Titus, and Jason Andrews rounded out the top 10.
