Alex Payne heads to victory lane on Super DIRTcar Series at Georgetown Speedway





Alex Payne won the 75 lap Super DIRTcar Series Delaware Diamond 75 at the Georgetown Speedway on Saturday. This was Alex's seventh win of the season, first at Georgetown Speedway this year, and second Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 20 year old Payne it was their first win putting him thirty-seventh on the Georgetown Speedway win list since 1991.
Finishing 1.0510 seconds behind in second was Tim Sears Jr.. This was Tim's twenty-fouth Top 5 of the season, first at Georgetown Speedway this year, and fifth Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Erick Rudolph, their thirty-seventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Mat Williamson, their sixty-seventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Mike Mahaney, their thirty-seventh top 5 of the year.
Darren Smith, Ryan Godown, Jimmy Phelps, Alex Yankowski, and Logan Watt rounded out the top 10.
