Stewart Friesen won the 60 lap Short Track Super Series South 60 Over Special at the Bridgeport Motorsports Park on Saturday. This was Stewart's fouth win of the season, first at Bridgeport Motorsports Park this year, and first Short Track Super Series South win of the season. For the 41 year old Friesen it was their second win putting him twelfth on the Bridgeport Motorsports Park win list since 1996. Finishing 1.0220 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard. This was Matt's sixth Top 5 of the season, first at Bridgeport Motorsports Park this year, and second Short Track Super Series South Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Alex Payne, their sixth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Alex Yankowski, their fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Anthony Perrego, their second top 5 of the year. Dillon Steuer, Justin Grosso, Logan Watt, Brandon Grosso, and Cale Ross rounded out the top 10.
