Matt Sheppard bags win on Short Track Super Series North at Autodrome Granby
Matt Sheppard won the 60 lap Short Track Super Series North Lumberjack Swing Night No. 1 at the Autodrome Granby on Tuesday. This was Matt's fourteenth win of the season, first at Autodrome Granby this year, and third Short Track Super Series North win of the season. For the 43 year old Sheppard it was their seventh win putting him twenty-first on the Autodrome Granby win list since 1991. Finishing 3.2380 seconds behind in second was Stewart Friesen. This was Stewart's twenty-first Top 5 of the season, first at Autodrome Granby this year, and fifth Short Track Super Series North Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Felix Roy, their twenty-second top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Samuel Charland, their tenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Chris Raabe, their fifteenth top 5 of the year. David Hebert, Jack Lehner, Mathieu Desjardins, Sebastien Gougeon, and Alex Payne rounded out the top 10.
