Matt Sheppard comes through with win on Short Track Super Series North at Afton Motorsports Park

Matt Sheppard won the 48 lap Short Track Super Series North Interstate 88 Special at the Afton Motorsports Park on Wednesday. This was Matt's thirteenth win of the season, first at Afton Motorsports Park this year, and second Short Track Super Series North win of the season. For the 43 year old Sheppard it was their third win putting him thirty-sixth on the Afton Motorsports Park win list since 1991.
Finishing 1.7230 seconds behind in second was Alex Yankowski. This was Alex's twenty-seventh Top 5 of the season, first at Afton Motorsports Park this year, and third Short Track Super Series North Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Stewart Friesen, their Twentieth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Dan Creeden, their ninth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Anthony Perrego, their eleventh top 5 of the year.
David Hebert, Rusty Smith, Jack Lehner, Brandon Loucks, and Ajay Potrzebowski rounded out the top 10.
