Larry Wight Wins Showdown in the Sunshine State Night 3 at All-Tech Raceway

Under the Florida lights, Larry Wight put on a show at All-Tech Raceway, taking the victory in the Showdown in the Sunshine State Night 3. Starting from the pole position, Wight kept the field at bay to claim the top spot. taking home the $5,000 top prize.

Chasing the leader to the line was Tanner VanDoren of Schnecksville, PA, who finished as the runner-up, crossing the line 7.7910 seconds behind the leader. Third place went to Matt Sheppard of Savannah, NY. Rick Laubach of Quakertown, PA crossed in fourth, with Jimmy Phelps of Baldwinsville, NY just behind in fifth.

Hard Charger of the race was Amy Holland, who improved 11 spots. While Tanner VanDoren earned the quick time award (19.610 seconds), it was Larry Wight who started the event from the top spot. Joining the front row was Erick Rudolph, who started second. Larry Wight set the fastest lap of the race with a time of 20.318 seconds. Finishing sixth through tenth were Erick Rudolph, Darren Smith, Alex Yankowski, Peter Britten, and Stewart Friesen.
