Larry Wight Wins DIRTcar Nationals Night 4 at Volusia Speedway Park

Under the Florida lights, Larry Wight put on a show at Volusia Speedway Park, taking the victory in the DIRTcar Nationals DIRTcar Nationals Night 4. climbing from sixth, Wight seized the lead and the win. collecting the $7,500 winner's share.

Chasing the leader to the line was Stewart Friesen of Sprakers, NY, who finished as the runner-up, crossing the line 1.4650 seconds behind the leader. Third place went to Mat Williamson of St. Catherines, ONT. Rounding out the top five were Matt Sheppard of Savannah, NY and Felix Roy of Napierville, QUE.

Felix Roy sliced through traffic, gaining 16 spots. Setting quick time was Mat Williamson at 16.695 seconds, but the pole award went to Peter Britten. Joining the front row was Justin Stone, who started second. Justin Stone set the fastest lap of the race with a time of 17.634 seconds. Completing the top ten were Billy Pauch Jr., Jack Lehner, Louden Reimert, Erick Rudolph, and Justin Stone.
