Anthony Perrego won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Lightning on the Mountain at the Thunder Mountain Speedway on Sunday. This was Anthony's third win of the season, first at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 23 year old Perrego it was their second win putting him seventh on the Thunder Mountain Speedway win list since 2008. Finishing in second was Stewart Friesen. This was Stewart's tenth Top 5 of the season, first at Thunder Mountain Speedway this year, and third Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Andy Bachetti, their eighth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Jeremy Smith, their second top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Ryan Jordan, their first top 5 of the year. Billy Decker, Jerry Higbie Jr., Adam Hilton, Nick Nye, and Chris Stull rounded out the top 10.
