This was Matt's forty-first win of the season, first at The Dirt Track at Charlotte this year, and twelfth Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 35 year old Sheppard it was their third win putting him first on the The Dirt Track at Charlotte win list since 2008. Finishing 1.341 seconds behind in second was Keith Flach. This was Keith's twenty-first Top 5 of the season, second at The Dirt Track at Charlotte this year, and fouth Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Mike Mahaney, their fourteenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Danny Johnson, their seventeenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Tim Fuller, their thirty-eighth top 5 of the year. Peter Britten, Billy Decker, Ryan Godown, Pat Ward, and Erick Rudolph rounded out the top 10.
