MARK HITCHCOCK, ERIC GAUVREAU, JAMIE MARTIN AND CHRIS TREMBLAY TAKE FROGTOWN GOLD

Hogansburg, NY - Mark Hitchcock finally found the winning combination and brought home his first ever 358 Modified feature win. Mark became the 5th different winner in the division.

Sandy Roberts grabbed the early lead from his outside front row starting spot only to surrender the lead to Delbert LeGrow on lap #3. LeGrow who has been running very strong all season held off challenges from Dave Heaslip, Mark Hitchcock and Leon Gonyo until lap #10 when veteran driver Dave Heaslip took over the lead.

After Heaslip grabbed the lead, Hitchcock and LeGrow continued to battle for the second position with Jeff Sykes on the move running in 4th.

Hitchcock found that the outside part of the race track was working well and he used it to his advantage finally catching and passing Heaslip on lap 18.

Hitchcock went on for the win. Jeff Sykes got past Dave Heaslip and Mike Perrotte for second. Mike Perrotte made a great late race charge to finish third as Dave Heaslip and Jim Ryan rounded out the top five. Ryan made one of the best runs of the night starting in the 16th spot and finishing in the top five.

In the DIRT Pro Stock class, Eric Gauvreau of Cantley, Quebec outlasted his brother, Denis, for the win. Mark Therrien, Billy "the Kid" King and Mitchell Jock rounded out the top five. The DIRT Pro Stocks are becoming more and more competitive each week with fabulous nose to tail racing.

In the always exciting Semi-Pro Division, Jamie Martin of Fort Covington, New York took home his first ever feature win at "the Frog".

Mike Harris grabbed the early lead only to have the red flag come out in lap #2 for a terrible crash in turn two that sent two cars flipping through the air collecting three other cars in the process. Amazingly enough, all drivers emerged from the accident uninjured.

After the race resumed, Steve Brand grabbed the lead and held it until lap 10 when mechanical problems forced him to the pits.

Martin inherited the lead and held on for the win. Mark Smoke flew through the field to finish second as Mike Harris, Dick Planty and Tim Allen rounded out the top five.

In the Bandit division, Chris Tremblay had to work hard to hold off several challenges from Brian Loeb and Travis McPhee to bring home the win. Loeb finished second with Travis McPhee getting third.

In the Enduro class, Owen White won his second in a row.

Special thanks going out to the Harte Haven Shopping Center sponsoring the evenings racing action.

Next Week it will be Greg's Auto Salvage and TLC Cafe night at the speedway. The Pro Stocks will have a 25 lap Summer Championship with Pro Stock Autographs preceding the feature go. The whole nights events will be capped off with an exciting fireworks display.
