Lynch & Bolland Star

HARTFORD, OH - Ed Lynch Jr. captured the Sprint Car feature and Kevin Bolland won the big-block Modified main by default last Saturday night at Sharon Speedway.

Lynch started on the pole in the 25-lap Sprint Car event, but fourth-starter Jarod Larson jumped into the lead at the initial green flag. Larson looked very strong, but his bid ended on lap five when the spinning car of Donny Minor collected him, flipping his No. 47 out of the race. That handed the top spot to Lynch, who never looked back en route to his third win of the sea son Mike Kekich followed him across the finish line in second.

Bolland, meanwhile, passed Mark Flick for the lead on a lap-13 restart in the big-block Modified main. He was still there on lap 20, when the race's 30-minute time limit expired, forcing offi cials to checker the event early.

Other winners were Carl McKinney in the E Modifieds and Dan Lewis in the Pure Stocks.
