Matt Sheppard victorious on Short Track Super Series at Georgetown Speedway





Matt Sheppard won the 44 lap Short Track Super Series Mid-Atlantic Championship at the Georgetown Speedway on Saturday. This was Matt's Twentieth win of the season, first at Georgetown Speedway this year, and third Short Track Super Series win of the season. For the 38 year old Sheppard it was their first win putting him seventeenth on the Georgetown Speedway win list since 2004.
Finishing 2.1950 seconds behind in second was Billy Pauch Jr.. This was Billy's twenty-third Top 5 of the season, fifth at Georgetown Speedway this year, and seventh Short Track Super Series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Anthony Perrego, their twenty-fifth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Stewart Friesen, their fifty-third top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Tyler Dippel, their eleventh top 5 of the year.
Danny Creeden, Rick Laubach, Mike Gular, Ryan Watt, and Matt Stangle rounded out the top 10.
