Matt Sheppard strikes at Outlaw Speedway
Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Regular Event at the Outlaw Speedway on Friday. This was Matt's fifth win of the season, third at Outlaw Speedway this year, and third Weekly win of the season. For the 37 year old Sheppard it was their thirty-fifth win putting him first on the Outlaw Speedway win list since 2004. Finishing 2.8240 seconds behind in second was Danny Johnson. This was Danny's fifth Top 5 of the season, third at Outlaw Speedway this year, and third Weekly Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Erick Rudolph, their eleventh top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Jim LaRock, their first top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Steve Paine, their second top 5 of the year. Kyle Coffey, Brady Fultz, Eldon Payne Jr., Derrick Podsiadlo, and Alan Johnson rounded out the top 10.
