Matt Sheppard comes away with win at Land of Legends Raceway

Matt Sheppard won the 40 lap Honeoye Auto Parts 40 at the Land of Legends Raceway on Thursday. This was Matt's fourteenth win of the season, first at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and third Non-series win of the season. For the 38 year old Sheppard it was their -eighth win putting him first on the Land of Legends Raceway win list since 2004.
Finishing 1.3090 seconds behind in second was Jimmy Phelps. This was Jimmy's seventh Top 5 of the season, third at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and second Non-series Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Billy Decker, their fifteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Erick Rudolph, their twenty-sixth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Alan Johnson, their tenth top 5 of the year.
Tim Fuller, Justin Haers, Kyle Coffey, Jack Lehner, and Chad Brachmann rounded out the top 10.
