Matt Sheppard bags win on Super DIRTcar Series at Land of Legends Raceway
Matt Sheppard won the 100 lap Super DIRTcar Series Gerald Haers Memorial at the Land of Legends Raceway on Saturday. This was Matt's twenty-fifth win of the season, fouth at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and fouth Super DIRTcar Series win of the season. For the 39 year old Sheppard it was their eighty-fifth win putting him first on the Land of Legends Raceway win list since 2002. Finishing 1.3320 seconds behind in second was Billy Decker. This was Billy's thirtieth Top 5 of the season, first at Land of Legends Raceway this year, and fifth Super DIRTcar Series Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Larry Wight, their twenty-fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Erick Rudolph, their forty-seventh top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Tim Fuller, their thirty-fouth top 5 of the year. Justin Haers, Peter Britten, Jack Lehner, Mat Williamson, and Chris Hile rounded out the top 10.
