Stewart Friesen won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series Elite New Yorker at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Sunday. This was Stewart's thirteenth win of the season, fouth at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and first Short Track Super Series Elite win of the season. For the 39 year old Friesen it was their sixty-first win putting him first on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 2000. Finishing 5.6790 seconds behind in second was Matt Sheppard.
