Matt Sheppard trimuphs on Short Track Super Series North at Fonda Speedway

Matt Sheppard won the 50 lap Short Track Super Series North Firecracker 50 at the Fonda Speedway on Monday. This was Matt's sixteenth win of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and second Short Track Super Series North win of the season. For the 41 year old Sheppard it was their sixth win putting him Twentieth on the Fonda Speedway win list since 1996.
Finishing 2.1050 seconds behind in second was Stewart Friesen. This was Stewart's eleventh Top 5 of the season, fouth at Fonda Speedway this year, and second Short Track Super Series North Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Alex Yankowski, their tenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Matt DeLorenzo, their sixteenth top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Mat Williamson, their twenty-eighth top 5 of the year.
Mike Trautschold, Max McLaughlin, Cody Clark, Billy Decker, and Rocky Warner rounded out the top 10.
