Matt Sheppard outruns Utica-Rome Speedway field for triumph

Matt Sheppard won the 30 lap Regular Event at the Utica-Rome Speedway on Friday. This was Matt's fourteenth win of the season, fifth at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and seventh Weekly win of the season. For the 40 year old Sheppard it was their sixty-fifth win putting him first on the Utica-Rome Speedway win list since 1996.
Finishing 0.8560 seconds behind in second was Billy Decker. This was Billy's eighth Top 5 of the season, sixth at Utica-Rome Speedway this year, and fifth Weekly Top 5 of the season.
Finishing third was Justin Wright, their first top 5 of the year.
Finishing fourth was Alex Yankowski, their seventh top 5 of the year.
Finishing fifth was Alan Barker, their seventh top 5 of the year.
Pat Ward, Willy Decker, Andy Bachetti, Mike Trautschold, and Alan Johnson rounded out the top 10.
