Max McLaughlin heads to victory lane on Thunder on the Thruway at Fonda Speedway
Max McLaughlin won the 30 lap Thunder on the Thruway Thunder on the Thruway Series at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday. This was Max's third win of the season, first at Fonda Speedway this year, and first Thunder on the Thruway win of the season. For the 23 year old McLaughlin it was their first win putting him forty-fouth on the Fonda Speedway win list since 1996. Finishing 2.0300 seconds behind in second was Matt DeLorenzo. This was Matt's fourteenth Top 5 of the season, fifth at Fonda Speedway this year, and second Thunder on the Thruway Top 5 of the season. Finishing third was Ronnie Johnson, their fifth top 5 of the year. Finishing fourth was Tim Fuller, their tenth top 5 of the year. Finishing fifth was Jessica Friesen, their third top 5 of the year. Alex Yankowski, Mike Mahaney, Rocky Warner, Dave Constantino, and Jack Lehner rounded out the top 10.
